No Matter What

Posted on Mon, Apr 11, 2011 at 9:53 AM

Coming from someone who grew up in a very health-conscious family, it is practically sinful for me to even consider letting my thoughts drift to fast food cravings. All my life, my mother has preached to me about the negative consequences to eating fast food, such as weight gain, high cholesterol, and even the uncertainties about the actual content of the food (we all know that those burgers can be a little bit questionable). Regardless of my childhood junk food deprivation and my mother's teachings, I just cannot seem to help myself. So thank you fast food restaurants. I don't care how bad you are for me, you have provided me with some great comfort food. —Ronald McDonald
