To the girls who brought my mother's dog to the vet after she was hit by a car: thank you, you are true samaritans. I understand you were trying to get her out of traffic and when the inevitable happened, you brought her to the vet. It must have been horrific to witness and my heart goes out to you for that, but you showed real strength of character and caring by bringing her in. The dog had enjoyed a long life and was at the stage where blindness and other health issues were setting in, no one will know why she took off, but we do know that you did everything that you could for her and we love you for it. —Missing the Dog But Loving Good Samaritans
