This love goes out to the wonderful, splendid, awesome, fabulous, lovely, HONEST individual who found my iPhone in the bathroom in a certain university's student building and turned it in to the info desk. I was in a hurry to get out of there due to a family emergency yesterday, and obviously didn't have my shit together [no pun intended]. A LOT of people out there would've just kept it, but your awesomeness didn't let you! Thanks for restoring my faith in humanity!!! I'm definitely going to be paying this one forward! Thanks a million times over! —PK

To the gentleman who gave me a free coffee at a cafe downtown yesterday, thank you. Your rare gesture didn't go unappreciated. —Starving Student

It started at a certain convenience store, you bought me a pack of smokes when I was in need. I didn't even know you, but your personality stroked mine with such great resonance that your smile is still echoing in my mind. Thanks for the bike, and the hilarious chat. I'm sure Halifax will miss you. —Wish I Met You Sooner

We look at each other wide-eyed when one of us farts really loud, then giggle like children. We can duet A Whole New World like no one's business. We have the comfiest bed EVAR. All of our friends can't imagine what they'd do if we broke up, and honestly neither can I. So lets never do that, m'kay? You are my squishy, and I hope you will be forever. —Moffin Moffin

I've only known the two of you for a few months, but I can sincerely say, you are the best friends I've ever had. Thank you so much for ALWAYS being here for me and making sure I'm happy when I'm not. You guys mean the world to me. I love you lots. —Let's Steal a Mattress

I work at a movie theatre. You and your girlfriend made my night. You were wearing either a purple or black toque, glasses, and had longish brown hair. The girl with you was radiant. Darkish skin, dark hair. The two of you carried on conversation, rather than being the stereotypical "blah" customer. I don't regret giving you free popcorn at all. If I see you guys again, I'll be sure to time it so you end up at my till! Thanks for making it more than just another movie ticket sale. You guys rock. —S

You're always on the 2 Wedgewood via Main around 4:00. You used to have spiky blond hair, but you buzzed it. You wear black boots all the time and look totally bad ass. You're always jamming out to what is probably wicked tunes. You seem cool as hell. That is all. —Lacewood Gal

It's a pleasure to come to your downtown coffee shop and sit all day while you putter around and serve uber delicious breakfast plates and perfectly made lattes. You girls are my Saturday-study-fest inspirations! Keep up the good work! —Your Breakfast Plate Eatn', Latte Drinkn', Study Buddy

Sunday morning, Nov 26th, 3AM. You walking home on Lacewood Drive and under your foot... a Blackberry rings. Me calling frantically for my boyfriend who had just lost his phone on his way home. I ran to meet you on the street and tried to give you a cash reward but no way would you hear of it! I tried to explain how much this meant and this was a mere token but you would not accept it. You said that someone had done the same for you in the past and you asked only that we pay it forward. You said it was a miracle you hadn't stepped on it as it rang, just as you were stepping down, almost upon it. It was certainly our good fortune that YOU found it! Kate, you are awesome! We promise to pay it forward as you requested. It's people like you who give us hope for the future, just honest, good people doing the right thing. The world needs more like you. Thank you so very much. —Frantic Phone Caller

Dreaming of spicy tuna, I almost keeled over when I turned the corner and saw a new sign where the waving kitty used to be... but went inside and all is well! New name, new sign - same place! The best sushi in the city, friendly staff, and cute little booths to feast in... what would I do without you?? Don't ever scare me like that again!! —Seranada
