You're like my dream come true. You cook, you bike, you garden, you camp... is there anything you don't do? You are kind and generous and thoughtful and quiet and I wish that I knew how to relax around you instead of constantly using alcohol to break the ice, which just ends up making me look like an idiot.

I thought I was over you, but then yesterday at Mumford Terminal I saw a guy wearing a plaid jacket loading a bike onto the front of the number one, and my heart stopped. I've never had that happen before. When he turned around, he was missing your signature half-grin and your facial hair (have I mentioned that I think your facial hair is just fine?) and since then, I haven't stopped thinking about you.

I wish so many things were different and that we could maybe have a shot. I'm leaving Halifax soon and who knows where you'll end up, but you have made an impact on my life, and I will always think on you fondly. —Illogical Lover
