Halifax's alFresco filmFesto is back baby! While I'm not overly-pleased with the choice of movies, I still vividly remember the good times had last year and definitely plan on supporting this cause. I'm not overly please because the subtle theme last year felt like "nostalgia" movies for parents or new adults that you've perhaps seen before but haven't in years, and are likely previously unseen for any kiddies that go. Charlie and Alice seem too fresh/new...still, I will be attending most regardless.

FYI, my lineup (which as I understand would be based on release date and consideration of a family environment):

1. Cry-Baby (this is EXACTLY the type of movie that should be shown...cheesy, ridiculous comedy all the way)
2. Edward Scissorhands
3. Benny and Joon (classic)
4. What's Eating Gilbert Grape
5. Ed Wood (nice Bill Murray tie in BTW)

Shame Fear and Loathing, Nightmare on Elm Street or Blow couldn't make the list. What can ya do? —zZz Can't Wait
