We used to be unstoppable, inseparable, one. I went on my downhill slope and you held my hand the entire time. You held us by the seams until I ripped the last thread from out of your hand. Karma hit me, literally. My sick body nearly died, and my aged and withered soul completely did. As the warm season brought the trees and flowers back to life, my soul also began to revive itself into a rebirth. But it was still in hiding, ashamed of its preceeding existence. And then I let go. Released. I revealed my youthful soul to you only to find you never stopped loving it, even in its pityful last days of its bittersweet demise. For this, I will be eternally indebted.
