To the girl in the green accent struggling with her standard car near Victoria: I'm sorry I honked at you. I didn't realize you were having such a hard time. I was where you were once, and it sucks, but know it gets better!!! Me and my little standard have been all over this beautiful country together. Good luck, and I wish you patience and good timing :) —too quick to honk in the red hatchback.

You've sprung to life before me and now I don't know how I ever got on without you. To my Melly Hamilton, like Scarlett, I certainly don't deserve your friendship. Your insane courage and our talks crosslegged on my bed keep me sane when I feel lost. I've missed you. To my Diana Barry, instead of a love of PEI, it's a love of this foggy harbour town & cozy quad we share. You are always in my thoughts and heart. Our time is sacred. Lastly, to my Lorelai Gilmore, you know a lot more than I give you credit for, I promise to show more appreciation for your help. I love you all so much <3 —Lorelai O'Hara of Green Gables

To the beautiful grils who were at Gus' Pub last night around 8:00 with the dark brown undercut who kept smiling at my friend and I over beers. I think you guys are lovely & we should have said hi!

If we ever cross paths again, I won't hesitate to talk to you. I think we should all hang out, you guys seem fun! —Headband wearing, Oland drinking gal.

Sitting in my backyard on any given day, I might hear the bagpipes two blocks down, the poor bastard nearby trying to learn to play the bugle, the muffled sounds of the band down the street dreaming of fame and fortune, the passing rush hour traffic, squawking crows in the trees overhead, neighbours' dogs barking, the North End anthem of distant sirens, or some children playing somewhere nearby. I never complain. Anyone who complains about noise before midnight needs to get a reality check. This is a city. A vibrant, beautiful city. Sit back, chill out and enjoy the symphony. —Easy Ear

Last night is raining cats and dogs and my car got a flat on the old sambro road. 2 am and no phone. Me panicking. YOU. You came out of nowhere and spent nearly an hour in worst rain ever with no coat, just to change my tire and then refused a ride home exclaiming "I'm already soaked might as well enjoy the rain|".

I never got your name, but you had a very unforgettable pineapple tattooed on your hand. Girl, I hope you read this and know that your willingness to help a stranger on one of the worst nights has totally restored my faith in the good people of Halifax. Keep on enjoying those rainy nights! —Helpless lady driver

I've regretted ending things between us for the past three years. Everything was amazing. We were so happy. Everything to live for. Had fun, an amazing group of friends, and even though we were recently graduated/in grad school; the lack of money didn't stop us having fun.

When I found out what you did. I was scared. I realize now it was stupid to be scared over something so small, and insignificant. I realize that after going through the bullshit that I have gone through.

I've seen you a couple of times since, but not much. It felt like my heart stopped beating. I would give up everything I have now (except my fur babies) in order to be with you again. I asked you if there would ever be a chance for us again; you said no. That's the last time we had contact.

But I truly am sorry. I'm sorry for everything. I still love you. I hope that you are happy. —Miss Your Friday Tradition.

I love you, oh my gosh I love you so so so so so much! Even when we fight, or when you toot in your sleep I still love you! You're an amazing man, you make me feel so wonderfully happy and loved I could never ask for more! I think you're the sexiest man to meet my eyes, you're stunning. I love your chiseled face, your mischievous grin, beautiful blue eyes and your thick black hair. Sounds surreal when I spell it out! I love your mind, how you laugh and that grumpy face you make when you're confused. You're my dream come true! My darling, two <3 —Your Hoots

And, yes, it's true that you don't remember my name. Nor do I recall ever having much of a conversation with you. However unlikely it was, our paths crossed 7 years ago and I haven't been able to forget you. We were awkward with each other then, and in subsequent meetings, but it was endearing.

My heart aches for the east coast, and you are intrinsically a part of that.

I know you can't... neither can I. But I want to hear from you. You know how to find me. — I could sign my real name since you don't remember it anyway!

I was worried about my appointment I was waiting for at the HI and stupidly left my cellphone at the Tim Horton's on the fourth floor. You found my phone and made my day, I thought for sure I would never see it again. All I could think about was the pictures I didn't have backed up (me being stupid again) from the past year and it broke my heart. Thankfully such an honest person such as yourself found it! You left it at the information desk and I wish I could have thanked you and bought you some lunch. You saved me the cost of a phone and memories I would have never been able to replace. You are one of a kind, I hope Many good things come your way! —Nexus owner
