Locked Keys & baby in car

I did something very stupid. I strapped the toddler in the car seat and shut the door, leaving the keys behind like a complete MORON. Thank God for you driving past on your bike. You stopped and helped me while I ran to my friends house across the street to use his cell phone. I don't know what I would have done had you not ridden by on your bike. Thank you for keeping me calm and sane during those 15 minutes it took for my spare keys to arrive. Thank God the car was parked in the shade and toddler thought it was a funny game.

I am so grateful for what you did and can't thank you enough. I'm mortified that I was so stupid and forgetful. Thank you for making me feel less ashamed. This city needs more kind and understanding people like you. I hope many good things come your way. —Not really a lover, just a very grateful stranger.
