At right about this time two years ago, you came into the downtown store where I was working. As I was ringing you through, you told me you thought 2012 was going to be the best year yet. I was recently heartbroken, and responded pretty unenthusiastically. A few minutes later you returned with a small gift for me from a neighbouring store. That gesture meant a lot to me then, and I haven't forgotten it now. Things got a lot better in 2012 and 2013, and I think 2014 is going to be the best yet.
