It was nice meeting you! I hope you enjoy your English immersion here in Halifax. My advice I didn't get to share: go to beaches, lakes & ocean (you can get to some on the bus). Try a donair and a chicken shawarma. Check out every festival you can and most of all have fun! —I took the pic of you & the church

I stepped out on my balcony this morning between 9 and 10am and it turned out to be just the right time...because there you were. I had never seen you before. You saw me as well, and we shared several glances. I think you may have waved to me as you left, like we had already known each other. I don't know who you are, but I would really like to. I'm betting you know where I am. Just look up and I'll help you find me. —Top-Floor Girl

Thanks to the young couple at the indoor mini-golf who gave my niece your tickets. She was so excited to pick out her prizes. She wanted to give you a hug, but didn't. So here's a hug for your generosity and making her night. —Mini-Golf Hug

I was on my way to a doctor appointment. A young man driving alongside of me indicated I had a flat tire, so I pulled over. He drove around the corner, parked and came back to help me! He put my spare tire on! I got to my appointment. Thank you so much Ryan. You made my day. I will pass the kindness on! —The Older, Bald-Headed Cancer Lady

You told me today your office is moving out of the building we've worked in for the past five years. To say I'm devastated is an understatement. I will dearly miss your gorgeous smile and amazing sense of humor. Maybe I'll still be able to drop by with a coffee for you once in a while. —Sad Panda

I'm coming home. I'm sorry I've been freaking out and blaming you. It's not your fault it's mine. I hope you can forgive me and we can tackle this together. I love you. Always. —Your Wildling

I like listening to whale sounds to fall asleep to. I like the tracks where they are arguing about who likes plankton the most, the best. It always amazes me how articulate they can be. —human 79,553,753,126*

It's obvious the trouble we're in
When your father pulls up in a Mercedes Benz
He says he just happened to be in the neighborhood
But before he leaves he slips the landlord the rent
You say, "It's just a question of eliminating obstacles"
As you throw your dinner out the kitchen door
You say, "I know how you try"
But honey, let's eat out tonight

No one said it would be easy
But no one said it'd be this hard
No one said it would be easy
No one thought we'd come this far

You can't seem to ever fold up a shirt
I bring it up and you think I'm a jerk
But I think we're here to stay
I can't imagine it any other way

Sometimes I wonder who he's picturing
When he looks at me and smiles

Oh, and look we've come this far
