Sitting on our Dartmouth waterfront deck on Canada Day, we noticed three deer swimming with determination for Halifax. Feeling sad, thinking for certain they wouldn't make it with nowhere to haul out on the other side, I felt a glimmer of hope when I saw your boat approaching them. (I was also hoping you weren't yahoos and were going to jump on one of their backs given the recent viral "riding a swimming moose video.") You headed them off, turned them around and sent them swimming back to the Dartmouth train tracks where there's lots of green space. For certain you saved their lives. THANK YOU for caring.
