One of my favourite things about Halifax
Overheard in the local park:
Middle-aged man to younger man smoking a cigarette: "Buddy! You can't smoke here!"
Younger man: "I'm pretty sure I can."
Older man: "You can't! It's the law!"

Younger man: "That says that dogs have to be on a leash."
