I'm sorry for the disregard of traffic rules and any indecent gesture that may have occurred Friday night on a drunken skateboard excursion. My bad, won't happen again. —A reckless, embarrassed sk8er girl

Having returned from spending the better part of a year training in the Ontario area, and then BC, gotta say—I love the friendliness that tends to be the norm in this city.

From people usually making eye contact and saying hi when walking down the street, to people basically always waiting another two seconds to hold the door open for you, to people always saying thank you for when you do hold the door for them—I love this city.

Definitely is true when people claim that the maritimes are a nice place.

Love you, Halifax! Happy to be back. —Home Sweet Home

Snow days in spring make me think of all the kids who are getting days off of school and loving every minute of it, I have a few kids in my life who love to be out in the snow and I remember loving those days myself, Just remember those fun days as a kid when your angry over the busses not running, shops closed. Why not go build a snowman or jump in the snow and relive your childhood moments? —Positive about the white stuff

My bed, and my partner, are the best combination of comfortable I have ever experienced. There has not been one day that has passed since I have met this woman that I have not had the most comfortable sleep of my life. Every sleep that goes by is better than the last. How could that ever change? How could one of the most enjoyable moments of my day all of a sudden become stale? Soon, I am going to marry this woman and in 30 years, I am going to wake up feeling the exact same way I do now, and tell her again, how much I love her and how much I love the bed we share. —Pups

I think about you all the time. I know you’re still here with us and increasingly I believe and understand that we’re all connected. Lately I’ve been wondering if you have already learned all the secrets of the universe by now though. Maybe you have or maybe you realized that you already knew. Maybe it takes time or maybe we don't understand time all that well.

Friends forever. —old spruce girl

As a pitbull owner, I would like to take some time to thank anyone who walks their dogs in off leash parks and is very accepting of my dog. I have never encountered such kind wonderful people as I do in off leash parks. Mothers will grab their children and run screaming if I walk down the sidewalk with her but never in a dog park. We both thank you all. —Nice to see some sane people

Your yowling cat and foolish self have completely stolen my heart. You're so inspiring that you make me want to be a better, more creative person. while part of me dreads being apart from you for the summer, I'm excited for the adventures that will give both of us so much. We'll be better than fine. I look forward to waking up to your absurd kisses when you get back. –The fiery space heater between your flowery sheets
