Big thank you to Halifax Transit’s lost and found for their outstanding customer service, the driver on route four Wednesday morning and especially the good samaritan who returned my laptop. 10,000 thanks still isn't enough. — KJ

To the people on Herring Cove Road with the reproduction of Michelangelo's "David" in front of their house: Each time I drive by I look to see if you've changed his theme. Thank you for making our little corner of the world just a bit better.

Thank you for my bottle of wine! It is greatly appreciated, especially after the day I endured today. I don't know which one of you it was from, but thank you.

My very first job was delivering The Daily News as a teenager; sad to see Metro go. Have been reading The Coast since you first started. Hope you find the printer that is right for you so we can all continue reading your great Halifax paper. Cheers!

I want to shout out the driver of the 3 who always stops for people when they’re running to catch his bus. You’ve saved my roommate and I from being late for work numerous times, and I’m sure there are others who can say the same! In all my years of being a Halifax Transit passenger, he’s the only one I’ve seen do this, which is why I’ve named him the best bus driver in HRM. Love!

Big shout-out to the Sean Connery lookalike who I think is in charge of security at Citadel Hill. Our little guy was looking at a long stay in the hospital. He has a little boy's fascination with big guns, so on the way to the IWK we stopped to tour the fort when it was all closed up. Let's just say Sean bent the rules a little bit and made a little boy's day a little less scary.

Not too long ago, I purchased a pair of Ralph Lauren sneakers from Winners in Mic Mac Mall. About half an hour after leaving the mall I noticed the shoes were not with me in my car. I quickly realized my stupidity—I had left them on top of the car and must've driven away with them still on the roof with the receipt inside! I zoomed back to the mall and was looking frantically through the parking lot, in the ditches and went to lost and found in the mall. Nothing.

Made my way to Winners, and lo and behold they were brought back by an older gentleman! You left your business card inside and I wanted to contact you to personally thank you, but when I got home it was nowhere to be found in the bag. What you don't realize is, that was my birthday present I bought for myself with my birthday money, and it was my birthday. Again, THANK YOU!

Just another Tuesday evening, laughing with a friend on the #1. We probably looked like fools. But still, some of you accepted the memes we airdropped, and the laughter grew from just us two, to a community of passengers on transit as a whole. Some of you even airdropped memes back. We were all strangers, still are, but in that moment I think we all felt the strength of our community, coming together, to laugh at funny photos.

You were driving us on the route #7 down Robie Street towards downtown at around 10:30 Sunday night, and you stopped at the bus stop in front of the Esso at Young and Robie. You then got up and walked towards the back of the bus, and politely woke up the guy to let him know that the grocery store he was looking for was just down the street! Our world needs more of you, thank you!

Remember the platforms you have,
Raise your voices,
And do what you do best.
Keep on continuing your wonderful work within the community.
You don't just make a difference,
You are the difference.
Some people just need to pay attention more closely and listen because you are the change that the city's council, provincial and federal government needs. They need to take a leaf from your book.
