Last week Shoptalk reported that Carlitos Café (6220 Quinpool Road, 444-7555) is closing, but good news for fans of their excellent coffee: the business has been sold to a gentleman named Noel Gallagher who intends on reopening the café April 12. His intent is to keep the café pretty much as is, though perhaps add more “European-style stuff” to the menu, in food and beverages. Oh, and expect a name change: in the next month or so it will become known as Paddy’s Café.
