The upcasual Westin Hotel dining lounge Elements (1181 Hollis Street, 496-7960) has a whole new approach to it's foody delights: It's now promoting the "eat local" movement, offering a 50-mile sustainable menu featuring local food with a global inspiration. That it's located steps away from the Seaport Farmer's Market makes it an easy and obvious resource, as are more than 35 other local farmers and producers with whom they're partnering. Its wine list offers over 116 selections featuring wines from eight Nova Scotia wineries. And it's now open six days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sundays for brunch.
