Chef Dennis Johnston wants to cook you one (or two, or three) last meal(s)

Those of you craving a tasty morsel or two from Fid Resto (1569 Dresden Row)—your days are officially numbered. The late hours of May 19 will mark the end of the locavore veteran that dazzled hungry Haligonians for 13 years, but until then hold back the tears in favour of eating great food. Here's what owners Dennis Johnston and Monica Bauche have planned for their last few special events.

Saturday, May 11: A Tango Brunch AKA brunch with a side of tango music and dancing, and the uber-popular Back Door Pad Thai runs all day as part of Open City.

Sunday, May 12: It's Mother's Day! Feed your favourite mom brunch (11am-2pm) or dinner, with a Mother's Day menu (5-9pm). She totally deserves it, as do you.

Wednesday, May 15: The LAST small plates night, the most popular of all Fid specialties. Service starts at 5pm for over 20 innovative plates that'll blow your mind.

Sunday, May 19: A night cap on this series of great, local, inspired eats, the very last night of service at Fid Resto.
