To the asshole at the Shore Club Saturday night who knocked me flying as he barged through the crowd and then called me 'smelly' (how old are you anyway, five?) Guess what? I too bought my Matt Mays ticket months ago and I was excited to see him as well. You didn't care about anyone else but your jerk self, even more evident when you hauled out your enormous Pentax-style camera to take pictures of the entire show, making sure those of us behind you couldn't see very well. You really suck and I bet you smell FAR worse than me. —Fan just trying to enjoy the show

Thieves are the lowest of the low, aren't they?

To my thief: you grabbed the wrong bag. The one you left behind contained way more valuable stuff. Sucker!

Please stop using cancer-causing dryer sheets and fabric softeners. We don't need them! Why not cut down on fossil fuels by using drying racks and clotheslines instead of wasteful dryers? Why are we so lazy??!! I go for a nice walk to breathe some air and I get poison perfume from peoples' dryer vents blowing out their disgusting fumes into the public air. Don't they know what is in these squares?

To our summer student: You are here to work! You are not here to carry your iPhone around and text your friends. You are not to duck into a meeting room and call a friend unless it is urgent. You are not to disappear from the office for 1.5 hours without alerting your supervisor. Quit whining, you were given a great opportunity in a domain you are currently studying. You have burned all bridges you have with us because you will not stop complaining. You don't complete work assigned unless we hound you. You are so self-righteous and entitled. Take your silver platter and begone! Because of you, we will likely not get funding for another student next year. Thank you for ruining a great opportunity for struggling students! —Person who has been stuck trying to stick some work ethic in your head all summer

Ok.

I'm going to make this short. You have all encountered it. Why are there people who can stand in line for over 5 minutes in full view of what's available, and then when they go up to the counter it's like a gold fish seeing the aquarium treasure chest for the first time. Ma'am, what would you like to order, Well she says, i just don't know, what do you have as she looks up to decide?

So, yes i did, i said ma'am, you have been standing in line for 5 minutes...what were you doing ?

She didn't say a word.

Like when someone comes on the bus from a bus stop...There are people in the rain behind, and she needs to get her wallet out of her purse to find the bus ticket for the first time....meanwhile...wtf.

Yes i did say that... "her", I've never seen a guy do it, but I'm sure it happens. —Low tolerance for blatent stupidity

If it wasn't a slap in the face enough to get my heart ripped out by you a month before our wedding, you still want to sleep with me and send texts saying how sad you are. I could care less that your decision to leave me is causing you to be sad and no, you don't get to sleep with me anymore. —#betteroff

Please. Please stop tailgating me. Don't tailgate me while I'm in the passing lane. Don't tailgate me if I'm in the slow lane. Soon I will put a sticker on the back of my car about tailgating to give you idiots who do this VERY ANNOYING AND ILLEGAL thing to me a darn clue.. I figured jamming my breaks when you're less than 10 feet from my ass was a clue.. I guess not, as you proceeded to go into the slow lane and tailgate the person I was passing instead to try to see who I was.. I was happy to greet your ugly face with my pretty manicured finger.

Wish I could see your insurance bills in 10 years after this bad habit bites you in the ass like you tried to bite me. —The chick who knows how to drive

So.. I ordered clothing online from a reliable site that I have ordered from before. I was working the day that my order was delivered. The delivery person left me two cards to pick up my order at their business location the next day after 1 pm. I went to the location to pick up my order, and was told the items were not yet available for pick up and to please try back tomorrow after 1 pm. Dragging my four children, two car seats out to my car again I go back to pick up my order. This is a $300 order of clothing including four pairs of shoes and other back to school items. It was shipped from New Jersey and took less than a week to arrive. But I still dont have it!! The 2nd time I went to pick up my order the manager comes to the counter and tells me again the items are not available for pick up and there is a problem with my tracking number and yesterday she left a message with her supervisor at the sortation plant etc. She picks up the phone at the back of the room and huddles over it, leaving a second message. Disappointed, I obtained the supervisors name and phone number and leave. I called the supervisors number upon leaving the store and when the voice mail message came on, it said the voice mail was full! At this point I am not being given a guarantee of when i can pick up my package, so i call the 1-800 number for the customer service for the delivery company. i explain the situation to the reprensative and he decides it is worthy for him to get a manager on the phone to handle the situation. I am told that they will have me hold on the line and contact the store location I just visted. I am not sure how this will help but I wait on hold for a total of 32 minutes. When the manager comes back to tell me when I may pick up my package, her tone has changed to a mocking tone as one would address a silly child. She is laughing as she says "the store manager told you she left a message with her supervisor, you are just going to have to wait until the manager calls her back. And she gave you the number for the manager at the sortation plant, did she not?" I have already explain all of this to the first rep on the phone and I agree yes all of that is true. Then I ask when may I pick up my parcel and the manager says "I can't give you a date" and I just say well that is not very helpful. Then the clothing website staff respond to my email asking about a refund and they say I should just go back to the location and pick up my parcel. I have tried to keep very calm about all of this but the problem is I have a bad temper and I am afraid if I go back there to the location tomorrow and the supervisor still hasn't called back the store that I am going to be rude and get in an argument. Does anyone else see anythning wrong with this picture? If the tracking number was good enough to ship the f##king parcels and they were at my house to be dropped off, why can't I pick them up. What the sweet mother F##K changed from the time I missed the delivery person at the door until they landed back at the store. I dont understand how they were shipped in the first place from New Jersey if there was a problem with the tracking number. I paid duty, taxes, shipping over $100 on the items at the time of purchase online and I just want my stuff. I start a new job Thursday and my two older kids start school in a week and I am needing the shoes for everyone. I have decided not to verbally complain about this to anyone as it just sours the mood so this is my only outlet. Sorry for the long and rambling nonsense but I feel a little better :) —Central Halifax Resident

The single most disappointing feature of NS politics today is how negative and petty the NDP PR people have become. I was so hopeful that we were in for a different kind of politics in 2009 when the NDP came to power, but now all I want to do is give the NDP a reason to clean house in their communications dept. Bring on the election! —orange_crushed

You do not have the right to block my way or impede me on a public thouroughfare. On my way to Halifax, along the eastern shore, via highway 7 I encountered a parade.

Highway 7 IS THE ONLY ROUTE through Moser River where I was stopped by a gentleman with a flashlight (in the daytime). He said I had to wait for 1.5 Hours for a parade to finish. I told him he couldn't do that his permit doesn't trump my right to come and go as I please unless there is an emergency, the road is being repaired or weather.

"The Parade" consisted of people with pickup trucks with kids in the back. It is illegal to drive with kids unsecured in your vehicle. Does HRM have parade insurance? Does this insurace company know that they are breaking the law?

At a family gathering I really lost it with my sister in law. She said they were only going 5km/hour. Any number of things could have happened to endanger those kids. Thats why there is a law. So my brother in law the councilor walks up to me. I told him he did not want to talk to me now. He did and I ripped him a new one.

He just couldn't seem to get the idea that he had no right to block my way. It was like talking to a brick wall and his wife thought their parade trumps physics. —sandbag026
