If you don't value your employees' mental health over the work, maybe rethink if you should be in charge. If your employee is anxious or depressed at work, maybe take a second to think: "Am I causing this? Can I help them?" Maybe, just a thought, try giving a shit about the people who are working their ass off for you and crying at their desk and not being paid what they're worth. —Exhausted by the bad bosses of Halifax

I have no trust in the Halifax Regional Police. If even half the accusations in just the past year are false, they are still one of the slimiest gangs of criminals in this province. Violence, rape, theft: You name it and someone in the HRP has (allegedly) gotten away with it. Public safety is already falling on the shoulders of the citizens, so what good are these goons?

You never know how disrespectful and messy people are until you work at a gym. For some reason, members LOVE to neglect cleaning up after themselves. Every day plates are left on the ground, yoga mats not rolled up—or they're just draped carelessly OVER the other neatly rolled mats. There's equipment being moved to different rooms and left there. Who raised you??? I don't know what you think I'm supposed to do, but it's not my job to clean up your messes. I once had to clean up some lady's WET HAIR that had fallen out while showering. I'm not out here trying to clean up YOUR HAIR. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF.

So I have nothing against businesses moving into the north end—it’s a good thing—but I do think it’s tacky to exploit the area to sell stuff, especially when it’s not even stuff that is of benefit to the local people. I’m also worried that I’ll eventually be kicked out to make more room for hipster money.

After running into you by chance following a tumultuous two weeks that Saturday night on Pizza Corner, you broke up a fight and left me without a goodbye. Is that really how you wanted to leave things?

As a former employee, I read about your business being vandalized with no small satisfaction. You are condescending snobs who treat your employees as though they are unworthy of your presence. You speak about them in third person while they are present, you never say thank you, and you flaunt your wealth while paying crap wages. I hope you go bankrupt.

I was walking down Robie Street when a car drove by me with windows down and a guy in the car let out a scream directly at me. A full-fledged scream out of nowhere. Why? Fuck you.

Why has the street sweeper come down my street three times in the same night between 1 am and 3:30 am? The same street three fucking times. Why??? It's loud as fuck and wakes me up every time. What is the point of even having a street sweeper? What exactly is it sweeping up? Some dust off the road? A few pebbles? What a waste of tax dollars and a total nuisance when people are trying to sleep! Fuck off, you assholes. You got pot holes everywhere, but your main priority is to sweep the outdoors? What dumb asses!

The program is not doing enough for people with physical and mental health disabilities. If a person tries to go get help on their own, like for the proper therapy in helping with PTSD, well, community services considers going to school work, not therapy, so they make you sign up for employment works! If a person is disabled and can't work because of severe physical and mental health issues, why are they told that if they don't sign up for the program, it could effect their funding? That is the line they use on every piece of paper that is sent to clients. This is a form of intimidation. How is it helping anything?

I'm tired of being treated like shit by my customers in the retail industry (and I'm sure other industries feel this too). It is my job to talk to you when you walk into my store. I have to say hello. I have to ask you if you need any help. It's my job to tell you the price of an item. The amount of customers who won't even let me greet them is astonishing. The amount of "Hi, how are you?" responded with "Just looking" makes me exhausted. I'm being nice and I'm trying to help you. Let me do my job. If you can't handle the social interaction just stick to amazon.ca.

Also, many people have never had to work in retail and it really shows! The amount of people who get upset with the associate for a policy or sale that is out of their control is ridiculous. I've been called a cunt and a bitch for something out of my control. It does nothing to help your situation and makes the associate feel like shit.

If you're reading this, please be nice to those whose job it is to interact with you, we just want you to be nice.
