A few weeks ago we wrote about Put Me On (upstairs, 1532 Queen), Pamela McInnis' new clothing shop. Now, local fashion and vintage hounds have more reasons to visit the stylish street. Clothes Horse, originally next door (1530 Queen) and upstairs from Elsie's Used Clothing, has moved into the same building as Put Me On. Elsie's has expanded their boutique upstairs in Clothes Horse's old space. But there won't be an over-saturation of cool (used clothing store Encore flanks the other side of Elsie's), each of the savvy owners has their own distinctive style and range of clothing, shoes and accessories.

When in Rome, wear Geox, apparently. On August 8, the Italian footwear company opened its first east coast store (designed by their in-house Italian architect) in Park Lane's old La Cache space. No one wants to admit their feet sweat and you won't have to with Geox's breathable-sole technology, in styles for men, women and kidlets. You’ll want to wear comfortable (yet fashionable) shoes when H&M officially opens in Mic Mac Mall on Thursday, August 13 at noon. The first 250 people in line receive 20 percent off purchases, so get your elbow sharpener ready. No pushing though: there’s plenty of trendy to go around.
