Danger, bargains ahead

Break out your helmet, Black Friday's hitting the malls

Danger, bargains ahead
Contain yourselves shoppers.

Black Friday is serious business. Maybe you've experienced it and piled into a rental car with your besties, and loads of empty luggage, to risk your limbs snapping up sales south of the border. The American Thanksgiving long weekend is known for its insane bargains and discounts which mark the beginning of holiday shopping madness in the US. This year, local malls are going to the dark side too.

Halifax Shopping Centre and Mic Mac Mall have decided to jump on the Black Friday bandwagon, promising slashed prices at participating stores. The HSC opens bright at early (8am on Friday and Saturday, 10am on Sunday) for its Big Black Bow Event, which offers anywhere from 15 to 25 percent off certain/most stores all weekend long. On the other side of the bridge, it seems Micmac will be concentrating all of their savings into Friday. Complete details or a list of retailers joining the event haven't yet been released but we'll, of course, update this post when that happens.

Happy shopping to all, and to all a good buy.
