Making a Play

Sloan's new record, Parallel Play—at 13 tracks, shorter by half than their last record, the aptly titled Never Hear the End of It—drops June 10 onYep Roc in the US and—HUH-WHAAAAA?—murderrecords in Canada. The group revived its New Seattle-era record label with an impossible-to-attend show at Canadian Music Week in March, and it's not just a novelty thing—they've signed keyboard outfit Pony Da Look and Will Currie and the Country French, whose albums hit the streets on April 29.

A tour will take place, with dates TBA. TT
