Goddamn That DJ Saved My Day!

Buck 65 has 1/3 of an album out for your perusal. Christmas done come early!

I was gearing down for the day when I received glorious and unexpected news: the new Buck 65 album is now streaming and downloadable online. Well, a third of it, anyway. And it's fo' free. Say whaat?! Connected/generous local rapperJesse Dangerously has the good word on the situation in this blog entry, while the actual link to the site with the magical goods can be sampled here. Why is this happening? Why is it free? Why do we only get a third of this? I don't know, and I don't care. If this is what one-third of the album sounds like, I don't know if I can handle the rest. Seriously. In the first five minutes I heard a sample of Allen Ginsberg's "Howl" and mixing that's smoother than Nicole Kidman's forehead. It sounds like Square---at its best!---and you can listen to it for free right now.
