Grand Sass love to play outdoors, see?

The Full Circle Festival (June 19-21), is “a weekend of camping on the farm, jamming around the campfire, collaborative songwriting, contra dancing, and celebrating the Summer Solstice” all at the Red Fox Farm (or, in the case of rain, the Community Hall across the street) in Centre Burlington, Nova Scotia. It’s a collaborative, musician-run festival featuring Nova Scotia’s best roots, folk and bluegrass acts, such as Acres & Acres, Grand Sass, Grassmarket, The Hupman Brothers, Kevin Roach, Klarka Weinwurm, Laura Merrimen, Mishra’s Dream, Mary Grace Koile, North Creak, Ryan Cook, The Smokin’ Contra Band, The Strangeboys, The Ukeladies and Youngest Daughters. And, like any good outdoor festival, there will be more than music to keep you occupied. There will be artists, yoga, farming workshops and a late night solstice spectacle. Get in the mood with a pre-festival hoedown ($10/free with festival pass) on June 5th at the Foggy Goggle, with The Smokin’ Contra Band, Grand Sass, North Creak, and more. Tickets at the festival will be $50, and early-bird tickets are available for only $35. Tickets include parking, camping, toilets and drinking water. There are only 300 tickets available, so contact Dan Latner ([email protected]), Louise Hanavan ([email protected]) or Amy Lounder ([email protected]) to get yours. Check www.fullcirclefestival.ca for any updates
