Now in its 13th year, Nova Scotia Music Week brings together the music industry and the public for four jam-packed days of performances, educational workshops and awards. Music Nova Scotia is proud to present Nova Scotia Music Week 2009 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia from November 5-8.
Nova Scotia Music Week is now accepting showcase submissions until Friday, July 10, 2009 at 5pm
Nova Scotia Music Week is using Sonicbids as the preferred method of applying for showcase opportunities: www.sonicbids.com/NSMW09.
Paper applications will still be accepted and can be found on our website www.musicnovascotia.ca/nsmw.
The Nova Scotia Music Week showcase stages allow Nova Scotian acts the opportunity to perform for a target audience of influential industry members including record label representatives, talent buyers, managers and media. This year the festival and conference is introducing an International Buyers Program along with the successful Bringin’ it Home Domestic Buyers Program.
Delegates and music buyers confirmed to date include Kevin Lyman, Warped Tour (USA), Lisa Paulon, Camden Crawl Festival/Traffic Marketing (UK), Carlo Scarampi, Barfly Club Network (UK), Martin Elbourne, Glastonbury Festival and Great Escape Festival (UK), Scott Cohen, The Orchard and Digital Music Distro (Worldwide) and 24 Bringin’ it Home Buyers from Nova Scotia.
