Celebrate the November issue of Open Heart Forgery by a) downloading it off ohforgery.com and enjoying the works of 21 local writers—the most OHF has had in a single issue—including Janet Brush, Katy Curwin, Arlene Diepenbrock, Harry Garrison, Serena Gauthier, Rowena Hopkins and others, and b) by attending Occupy Nova Scotia: Open Mic of Socially Minded Poetry and Music this Saturday at 1-5pm at Grand Parade Square (subject to relocation, contact organizer David Williams at [email protected], 454-9564 to find out if there is a venue change). Open Heart Forgers and newbies are invited to share socially minded poems and music at this afternoon open mic.
