Special Noise is back! The darlings of 2005 are back to lay down some rock solid bright sounds and drum inspiration at Michael’s Bar and Grill July 21 (10pm, $6) before heading to Evolve. With Quaker Parents (back from a tour, and you all know what they say about bands back from tour—they’re usually very happy to see their own beds. Also they rule more than normal) and newcomers Ado. In the (sort of) words of Liz Lemon: “Ain’t no party like a Special Noise party, 'cause a Special Noise party is mandatory.” Or it should be, anyway.
