Problems With Authority

The story of an activist/theatre artist/PEI pariah

Society needs people who are unafraid to challenge the status quo: activists, protesters, shit disturbers, if you will. People just like Evan Brown. Brown is a well-known theatre technician here Halifax, but in his previous life, he was most famously known as the young man who pied Jean Chretien.

In Brown’s one-man show Problems With Authority, he delves into his motivations for the act, as well as the unforeseen consequences.

Brown is a winning and engaging performer who draws you into his world with self-deprecating humour and charm. His show is beautifully written, and makes clever use of Brown technical skills.

I don’t want to reveal more about the play, but suffice to say it’s a shining example of accessible, informative and highly entertaining Fringe theatre.
