He threads stories about his life through the songs, displaying a rare vision that looks beyond the task at hand—entertaining a crowd of thousands in a park—to the streets beyond it.” Should you crave a similar sonically spiritual experience, this Thursday’s show may be your only chance (at least locally). Performing with 2013 XXL Action Bronson, BADBADNOTGOOD, Quake Matthews and Weirdo Click (Thursday, October 24, 7:30pm, Olympic Community Hall), Killer Mike’s transformative rap power has been a decade plus in the making, culminating with 2012’s R.A.P. Music, his sixth studio album. Don’t sleep.
