The Cannabis Sessions

The Coast presents this one-day series of discussions that'll help you demystify recreational cannabis. Both new and avid consumers can catch talks on things like growing craft plants, the science behind the plant, addressing stigma and more. "A first for this region, attendees will have exclusive access to speaker sessions and get the chance to interact with feature brands, influencers, industry trailblazers and other consumers," the event promises, and coffee, food and a totally dope swag bag are all included in your ticket cost. Auction to support Stop Alton Gas

Indigenous artist Carrie Allison and her Kin River Collective host this live auction raising funds for water protectors and Stop Alton Gas (an organization aiming to protect the Shubenacadie River and surrounding land from becoming a natural gas storage site). Amongst the items on offer? Sections of her Shubenacadie River Beading Project, a geographically correct, traditional beading of the waterway the artist crafted as a community collaboration.
