4th Annual Not So Serious Side of Sex

The Halifax Sexual Health Centre is fundraising to expand its programs and wants to show you the Not So Serious Side of Sex for the occasion. Executive director Angus Campbell says the night's "sexperts" are Rachel Dodds from Sexy Girl Inc., professor of human sexuality Matt Numer, drag queen Rouge Fatale and former HSHC nurse Helga Wotherspoon. "I say 'sexperts' in quotation marks because we don't want anyone thinking these are actually sex experts you would come and see seriously," says Campbell. "We play games with them." He adds that the group will team up two-on-two to answer sex-related questions, without needing any expertise (think Balderdash, but with sexy parts). "We may make them blush," says Campbell. "The goal is to have a good time." You can also expect to see local burlesque dancer Miss C doing her thing, and African dancer Mufaro Chakabuda and drummer Glenn Fraser. "Come, have a little party, support the cause, maybe get some information," invites Campbell. Only for those 19 and up. –Holly Gordon
