This is why I hated my manager. If anyone complained, even if they were wrong, they got what they wanted (within "reason") His logic was the money they would lose from a spending customer would be worth more than giving something for free. Fuck that, don't reward bad behaviour. It's always the entitled dicks that get what they want while the polite, easygoing people get nothing for being decent human beings.
I have horribly loud neighbors. as soon as I hear their bullshit loud partying, I bang the floor right away as I have zero tolerance for them anymore.
If I heard one of them crying their eyes out, I'd let them. I'd probably bake them cupcakes or something. It's called empathy, you dicks. There's not enough of it in the world.
12 hour shifts suck. Nurses and doctors are people too.. they need breaks like everyone else. When they accidentally sew your sons ass to his face from hallucinating due to not eating all day, you'll really complain.
I don't think even "asking" is allowable in my books. You're asking permission from the closest car to you, you're NOT asking the pile of cars behind that one who would now have to wait on you as well. Sorry, but after witnessing so any douche bags cutting on the road, I would have assumed the same thing from you.
I hear that. I was just telling my friends how I'm tired of people telling me I'd look healthier if I gained weight - Do you know how hard it is for me to gain weight? The amount of crap I'd have to eat to gain weight would actually make me LESS healthy. And the double standard has always pissed me off. I'm tall and skinny and since elementary, I've been made fun of for it. When people point out that I'm too skinny, it hurts just as much as it would hurt to tell someone they are too fat. (not so much anymore because I'm more confident) but it's always been tied to negative feelings so that's what I feel even if they didn't mean it that way. What I hear is "You're different! HAHA!" I guess what pisses me off the most is the fact that I have not and NEVER would point out someone's weight "problem". I'd like the same respect, thanks.
