I'm all for reducing waste and helping the environment but talking like that does not help the situation. If you want people to take you seriously, don't insult them. It just makes you look like another crazy environmentalist.

Another little side note.....when I see motorists driving in a safe, respectful way, such as waiting for me to go by instead of pulling out and cutting me off, I usually give a little wave and a smile! I usually get a smile back.....just makes everyone's day a little bit better, for me at least.

I ride my bike around the city most days and I agree that to be safer you shouldn't ride up along side of cars when they are stopped at a red light/stop sign. You should take the lane and wait in line. This way you can ensure that the driver behind you can see you! After going through the intersection or making a turn, I usually move over to the side again to let the cars pass.

Also, if there are cars parked along the side of the road make sure you are far enough away from the doors so that you don't get hit and fall into traffic, even if that means taking up a lane. At least if there is another lane beside you traffic can take that lane and then move back after they've passed you, rather than trying to squeeze by.

avast0 - You can get delicious gelato from the Foxhill Cheese House. They have a store-front shop at the seaport farmers market....it's very good quality.

They use their own non-homogenized milk to make it, from grass-fed cows! They have several flavours too! You can buy small tubs or just get a scoop. I believe the tubs cost around $6.75.

Coheed is a really good band, and they put on an amazing live show! I've seen them many times. In my opinion, they sound better live than they do on their albums, which I think is the sign of an awesome band.
