Is it just me or if the mirror is not giving you enough of a view get a better mirror that will do the job? Can you imagine if everyone who got in an accident said "they were in my blind spot, it was not my fault!"... I understand the dimensions of a bus are different than those of my car, but if we can send the man to the moon I'm sure we could get you a mirror that would fix this problem. Perhaps set this point up for your next union meeting?
I don't mean to get so riled up - I just cannot understand how with all the information out there, and the new studies that come out showing the clear link to the damage done to a person's DNA that any person would pick up a cigarette is beyond me. It is not just the smoker who has increased their chance of getting Cancer - it is every other person that is exposed to it. But refocusing back to the original bitch - if you have every right to smoke (I know don't get started) than I have every right to cover my nose and mouth!
Just 15 cigarettes alters your DNA and continues to do so (information based on International Study led by British Researchers - look it up!) - I'm sorry you find it offensive that I place my health and well-being above your feelings.... Sexual Harassment is a criminal offence and the fact that we all seem to chalk it up as oh well you just are surrounded by stupid people and are overreacting and need to step up, etc.... leads me to wonder....
Do we all also feel the same way about bullying (which carries no criminal offence, though it should)- those kids who take their life are they also overreacting and need to step up as well because those bullies are just stupid too and that is life...
And we wonder were all this stems from? Bully who is excused becomes bully in the workplace and we all just allow this cycle to continue when we chalk it up to being "life"- and you need to be stronger.
How about instead of blaming the victim or putting them down, we proactively seek the offender and fix the situation so it does not happen again!
Stock transport is not owned by HRSB, and has restrictions on hours you can use them as they are needed to bring and take kids from home to school. Buses are a huge cost (some up to $400) and there is no budget for school trips - why do you think you pay 10 bucks... part admission, part bus. Nothing extra is free - and trips are extra.
