    Thank you very much for this list! I would love to see it updated annually, perhaps with a letter "grade" or additional notes by each place name.

    It is true: "accessible" can sometimes simply mean you can get through the front door and to the closest table of an establishment. I have come to discover that it does not necessarily mean that the washrooms, emergency exits, and cash register/front counters are accessible, or like another commenter posted, that you can comfortably dine at the tables.

    My father is wheelchair bound and believe me, we have come to know which establishments go out of their way to genuinely welcome us and ensure we have a positive experience, and which treat a disabled customer like a nuisance and embarrassment. Some of the "finest" dining establishments in the city have behaved shamefully in this regard.
