The Nova Scotia NDP put out positive ads and their social media is flooded with positive messages about their achievements over the last four years.
I don't recall people complaining when the Nova Scotia Liberal Party ran a quarter of a million dollars in attack ads against the NDP. And oh, it was paid for by tainted trust fund money too. Funny that.
Are there negative attack ads? Yes. If they didn't run them, they would be negligent as a political party. Quite frankly, those who say "stay positive" and "I hate attack ads" are pretty stupid. Why? They work and help win elections. BC NDP leader Adrian Dix took that advice and ran a "positive" campaign. He just smiled when the BC Liberals attacked him. Well, that worked out well, huh?
