Well, for someone who feels it's a waste of time reading my comments, you certainly reply to most of them!

But you have much time to waste .. I see that I was correct about you being old, unemployed, and unable to change.

Also, the Buddha wasn't a deity, he was just a man who worked out how to live happy.

Have fun pretending to be me, it'll help fill the long hours of boredom in your life. I have some things to do, maybe I'll play with you later .. when I feel like a laugh.

    Hey TT Fonebone,

I don't have the time to play with you, having work to do and a life to live .. you keep on pretending you are me, old hag. I'll keep on achieving goals, you keep on filling your unemployed days with vicarious thrills. How old are you anyways? I'm guessing sixty something .. too late to learn any lessons now, I'd say.

"I've always pictured hipsters to be the millenial version of beatniks." - CC

I would say rappers are the modern beatniks .. spoken poetry, add digital samples/keyboard and you have hip hop. Macklemore/Lewis is my fav, in this genre. (Given Fonebone's penchant for clothes that smell like R. Kelly's sheets, I assume that she likes this artist as well!!)

I'm not so sure "hipsters" exist, except in certain peoples'
heads. For one thing, people can't seem to agree on an actual meaning for the word!

"So, if we eat the coyotes after skinning it, does that make it okay to wear?"

Well put, Meaty. People don't realise that life is a continual act of violence. For example, monks/nuns in the Jain reigion closely inspect the fruits and veggies they eat, lest it contain bugs. They walk carefully, so they don't step on any bugs, etc. One of their saints refused to deal with his head lice .. he didn't want to kill those sentient creatures.

So how far does one go, trying to be compassionate towards the other creatures in this world? Personally, I follow the Buddha .. who, though some may be surprised to hear it, was a meat eater.

It's a matter of personal decision, with no concrete right or wrong, as i see it.

    P.S

Meaty, I have a question I would like to put to you. It's about male and female homosexuals, an honest question. Would you be willing to answer it, if you are able?

    Re: “Taxi
I haven't had any problems with Halifax cabs, they have always been clean and well maintained. The drivers are professional, from my experience, and I've never had a problem with their service.

On the few occasions that I have used Dartmouth cabs, I have found the cars old, and not very clean. I was at a house party in Keystone village a few years ago, and when my cab arrived I called the cab company to tell them to send a better vehicle .. it was one of those big cars from the eighties, blue smoke pouring out the back, and as loud as a tank! Another time, I realised the driver had liquor on his breath ... I was already halfway home, and didn't want to get out where I was, so I took the safety risk. I called the cab company about it when I arrived safely home. They need better taxi regulation over there, imo.

I hate this sort of bitch, mostly because this sort of service is so common. Many people do not know how to be courteous, let alone the more subtle aspects of customer service. The big burger stores all have training, but it is mostly about the technical aspects of the job, rather than actual customer service. In this, they are all the same. Not my kind of business, that is for sure.
