I don't think Andrew mentioned anything about being bitter that he wasn't represented. He just seems upset about the shitty coverage of the halifax comedy scene, and I strongly agree with him.
As a frequent patron of the halifax comedy scene it is infuriating to read the coast's coverage. They promote the shittiest niche shows done by lame hack comics and ignore the weekly institutions that bring in talent from around the country. And I don't think Andrew was name-dropping to impress anyone... if you actually paid attention to the scene in halifax (besides the odd shitshow at the company house) then you would realize that the names he provided were merely the working comics of halifax that aren't represented by the coast EVER despite their accomplishments or talent.
The coast sucks at comedy... it has for the last 8 years I've read it
I would love to hear an informed take on HRM's comedy scene and I think this Andrew guy would be a great fit as it seems he knows his shit.

This article isn't that bad it just doesn't seem to have a point other than to say "hey... some people don't like clowns, but some do" which seems like a waste of the article considering they interviewed 2 of the busiest clowns I've ever met and didn't specifically mention one project that they are currently working on...
Not to mention they credit Dominic Affeld as one of Halifax Circus' instructors and clowns... He is neither... He has never been a working clown and he is no longer an instructor with Halifax Circus.
