We have a beautiful library, I enjoy it and it is an inspiration for all of Canada. It's not just books, it a gathering place, a place for people to socialize. The nice treats at Pavia add to the decor and taste buds. Yum Yum
Bus Drivers need to catch up to police and fire. They are underpaid. I would not want that job for that pay. Their job is just as dangerous as a fireman, their actually in traffic 8 hours a day, with who knows who as passengers.
So the people in Tantallon, who need paved roads to get into the city to work, don't want a place that makes asphalt 2.5 km from their subdivision ? That is much further than the experts say is required. They do realize that to get the rezoning and the plant approved, only 9 councilors need to want this. I'd say they breath more toxic fumes from all the trucks on 103 getting up stream to make that big hill ? This is a classic case of NIMBY from the people who actually need PAVED ROADS. This will be an interesting vote

Whitman -B, Mosher F, something does not make sense, time to start reading something else.
Why is Matt Whitman on this list ? Have you ever watched a council meeting ? Whitman does and says very little at sessions, seems to not prepare or understand the issue. Rankin, Mosher, and at least 5 others bring more to council than Whitman. This is a joke right ? What does Whitman do, well he takes pictures of himself and posts them on the Internet all day, shows up at meetings and leaves early without doing much except take a picture of himself at the meeting.
