For Aya Mohamed: Yes, there *is* a 2022 Best of Halifax. The final results will be published in November 2022, but nominations are open now at https://bestofhalifax.com so get over there and make your opinions known. That link is also where voting happens in August and September.

    Yes!

The province's plan says on June 2 "Travel will no longer be restricted within most of Nova Scotia, although people are asked to avoid non-essential travel into and out of Cape Breton Regional Municipality and into and out of areas of Halifax Regional Municipality, Hubbards, Milford, Lantz, Elmsdale, Enfield, Mount Uniacke, South Uniacke, Ecum Secum and Trafalgar." I'm pretty sure all those towns are bordering HRM in either Hants, Lunenburg, Pictou or Guysborough Counties, so Colchester and Cumberland Counties have no restictions at all. Travel between them is definitely allowed.

The press release from the province that states the plan is at: https://novascotia.ca/news/release/?id=202…

Good question, and my understanding is the province is waiting to answer it. The official press release about the reopening plan says starting June 2 there won't be restrictions on travel for most of the province, except for going to and from Sydney and the Halifax Regional Municipality. Then it says: "A final decision will be made about travel for those areas of the province early next week, based on COVID-19 activity." I read that as saying they'll let us know next week how much people in HRM can travel within HRM, such as your trip from Clayton Park to Dartmouth.

That press release is here: https://novascotia.ca/news/release/?id=202…

Hi Anthony. Thanks for such an insightful comment. Joan D's name is now fixed, and I'm not going to rest until I manage to use "didon" in conversation.
