When: Sun., Dec. 18, 4 & 7:30 p.m. 2016
A heady rush of spiritual vibes will be had at this holiday concert, hosted by associate professor Roberta Barker (who teaches early modern studies at King's College) and directed by Paul Halley. Expect theatrical hymns and voices soaring as high as the cathedral's ceilings, courtesy of the King’s College Chapel Choir.
Bonus! This show is going on the road in December, so if you're heading home for the holidays you might be able to score the same big sound in the more intimate setting of a country chapel (or maybe we've just visualizing quaint holiday card scenes?).
The choir will be at St Ninian’s Cathedral, Antigonish, on December 16 at 8pm and visits Lunenburg on December 17 at 4pm at St John’s Anglican Church. Staying in the city? They'll be at the Cathedral Church of All Saints December 18 at 4m and 7:30pm. Grab your tickets at tickethalifax.com for Halifax and Antigonish dates. Lunenburg attendees can get theirs at the door or via email at email@example.com.
