A Show of Costume: The Military Ball of 1869 in Honour of His Royal Highness Prince Arthur

When: Fri., April 15, 8 p.m. 2016

Students from Dalhousie's Costume Studies program recreate the elegant, intricate costumes worn by high society Haligonians to an 1869 military ball held in honour of Prince Arthur's visit to the city. To illustrate that the costumes are historically accurate down to the underpinnings, a model will be dressed from the undergarments out to take on the fashionable shape of the era.

Price: $15/$25
