A view to the future

To the editor,

From what I can tell, the United Gulf towers DON'T violate the Municipal Planning Strategy, or if they do, then it's in a way that is subject to interpretation. I really don't see how building a large, attractive project adjacent to a proposed heritage district is going to be the downfall of said heritage district.

In addition to protecting the heritage we have, we must also be continuously adding to our heritage by keeping up with the times, at least once in a while.
