Re: “I need a cell phone why??

Ditto on melectric. They will use the number to bombard you with marketing ploys and make a lot of money selling that number to 3rd party companies. Rent local, support locally.

Re: “Condoms from Mom

The mother obviously caught the newsflash that teens have sex. So she did the responsible thing. Just because she bought condoms, it doesn't mean she didn't also educate. Power to her.

If he never learned to tell the difference between ginger ale and beer, he must not have been a really good alcoholic either.

Re: “Shitty Toy Graffiti Writers of Halifax, Beware

There are times when Graffiti can work. An ad-hoc mural on the inside of a train bridge, political slogans written on the buildings of a military dictatorship, or maybe just a funny comment on a dumpster (a while ago someone painted the words "this is art" on a sidewalk near Dal).

Sadly these 'tags' need no skill, no creativity and have no value to others. Why don't they just tag themselves by tattooing "loser" on their foreheads - less roaming needed.

Re: “Sardines in a Can

Usually there is room for more if the people in the back would just create a little more space (not to mention taking off their backpacks) or the driver would actually get up and ask people to move back. That being said, if your defence is that you just have a block to go - walk a block!

Re: “Blind Lacewooder

The sad thing is, they may even have run you over and not noticed! Throw a little snow and traffic into the mix, and your average driver turns into an anxious zombie with tunnel-vision.
