Need a little extra kick to that Blundstone you've been wearing? Here's your chance to turn it up an artsy notch. Local talent such as Stephanie Domet, Megan Leslie (MP) and Liz Rigney donned their painting frocks to paint each piece of Blundstone Footwear, with each boot to be auctioned off for proceeds to support the Learning Disabilities Association of Nova Scotia. Fred Connors, of FRED, says after hosting the first Art to Boot (formerly called Boot It Up!) last year, he realized its value to the community. "Not only does this event, which is co-sponsored by Blundstone, provide opportunities for LDANS, it brings much needed focus to the contributions made by our local art and cultural community, as well as providing an opportunity for great fun."
