“I’ve had the advantage of a lot of work done by generations before me, and so I want to honour that and in turn help make the world a better place,” explains Kevin Kindred. With a day job as labour and employment lawyer for a large corporation, Kindred has long donated his free time to various LGBTQ rights organizations, most recently the Nova Scotia Rainbow Action Project. Over the past year or so, the organization has been focusing especially on transgendered rights, and had a huge victory when the provincial legislation approved funding sex reassignment surgery.| Nov 7, 2019
