Of all the delights on the dessert menu, La Cave’s cheesecake is the favourite of customers. “They’re made in-house from scratch, and they’re usually gone in a day,” says La Cave floor manager Saskia Rock. “The biggest compliment for me is when someone says my baking tastes just like their grandmother’s,” says pastry chef Andrew Beck. “Those ladies know how to bake.”
