Best Chinese Restaurant

The Great Wall, 1649 Bedford Row, 422-6153

Well, if it can pull off the Best Dim Sum, it makes sense that it can also produce the best Chinese food in the city. “The staff literally starts preparing first thing in the morning,” says Simon Thibault, who works there. “They put in, pretty easily, 12 hours a day, carefully preparing everything.” He says the Szechuan pieces are the most popular—particularly the ginger beef and the General Tao chicken. And you should probably try the seafood as well.

Runner-up: King Wah, 6430 Quinpool, 423-2587
