“Every Sunday we are packed,” says Great Wall co-owner Patrick Wong. Great Wall offers two different menus, one with traditional Chinese fare, and another in English with more standard selections. “The younger generation will try different things, but overall most people aren’t too crazy about tripe and chicken feet,” Wong says. His secret, he says, is going the extra mile to get the best ingredients. “We get our squid tentacles from New Zealand—not like the little ones you get here. They’re as big as a finger!”
