Best Female Film / TV Actor

Gold Winner Cathy Jones

Silver Winner Molly Dunsworth

Bronze Winner Andrea Lee Norwood

If you could bottle the charm that This Hour Has 22 Minutes’ long-time anchor (Jones has been crackin’ ’em up at the desk for the past 21 years) Cathy Jones exudes, you’d have a licence to print money. Jones’ signature knowing smirk at the camera and ability to break out a perfect 1940s fancy lady accent at will (tough cookies, Amy Poehler and Tiny Fey—Jones did it first) coming through your speakers have the calming effect of making you feel like everything is going to be all right. Congrats, Cathy, you’ve won our hearts and Best of Halifax gold yet again.
